El Renacimiento

Don Hernando de Aragón cambio la obra hacia un diseño espacial más moderno. Se alargaron las naves hacia los pies en dos tramos más y se alcanzo una "planta de salón" cuadrada, que gira en torno al coro. Se cegaron los ventanales góticos y se rebajo la bóveda del ábside, dando protagonismo al cimborrio. La catedral de la Seo de Zaragoza

La zona central acoge el trascoro en el siglo XVI y va tomando forma una nebulosa de capillas. En 1681 se comienza la nueva torre.
